About us

John Pollitt Classic Cars specialise in the sale, storage and transportation of cars from pre-war vintage through to the 1970s. Classics are also available for wedding hire.
Here at JP Classics, we pride ourselves on the customer service and value for money on offer from our purpose-built premises situated in the rural surroundings of beautiful North Yorkshire. We are just a couple of minutes away from the centre of Northallerton and easy to find from both the A1M and the A19.
Our vehicles are hand selected and we are willing to travel large distances if it means sourcing the right classic at the right price. We do not operate from large, city-style premises and, because of that, we believe our prices to be among the most competitive in the UK.
John Pollitt Classic Cars was founded 4 years ago when John retired from the RAF. John has more than 40 years' experience of the classic car scene and he is always available for a chat.
John is a retired RAF Warrant Officer and before that was an auto electrician which makes his passion for classic cars even more strong, he believes that his knowledge of the business, coupled with his own individual people skills, makes him unique amidst the often hard-nosed business of selling cars of any age.

We have a passion for the cars we buy and sell and, therefore, tend to purchase classics that we would be pround to drive ourselves.
